Where is temp sensor on Volvo s80?

There are two coolant temperature sensors on a Volvo S80. One is located in the thermostat housing, and the other is in the cylinder head. Here are the steps for locating them:

Thermostat housing temperature sensor:

1. Locate the thermostat housing on the front of the engine. It is usually located near the top of the engine, and has two hoses connected to it.

2. Remove the electrical connector from the temperature sensor.

3. Use a wrench to loosen and remove the temperature sensor from the thermostat housing.

Cylinder head temperature sensor:

1. Locate the cylinder head on the side of the engine opposite the timing belt.

2. Remove the electrical connector from the temperature sensor.

3. Use a wrench to loosen and remove the temperature sensor from the cylinder head.
