1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2. Remove the glove compartment.
3. Locate the blower motor resistor. It is located on the passenger side of the HVAC housing, near the blower motor.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the blower motor resistor.
5. Remove the screw that secures the blower motor resistor to the housing.
6. Remove the resistor from the housing and inspect it for damage. If it is damaged, replace it.
7. Install the new resistor in the housing and fasten it with the retaining screw.
8. Connect the electrical connector to the blower motor resistor.
9. Reinstall the glove compartment.
10. Connect the negative battery terminal.
