1. Gather necessary tools and materials: new upper radiator hose, hose clamp, 5/8-inch wrench, pliers, and a funnel.
2. Park your vehicle on level ground, turn off the engine, and allow it to cool down.
3. Open the hood of your Caravan.
4. Locate the upper radiator hose. It is the large hose that connects the top of the radiator to the engine.
5. Place a drain pan under the radiator to catch any coolant that may spill.
6. Use the pliers to loosen the hose clamp that secures the upper radiator hose to the radiator.
7. Slide the old hose off the radiator connection and discard it.
8. Clean the radiator connection to remove any dirt or debris.
9. Slide the new upper radiator hose onto the radiator connection and secure it with the hose clamp. Tighten the hose clamp with the wrench.
10. Repeat steps 6 to 9 for the other end of the upper radiator hose, where it connects to the engine.
11. Fill the radiator with a mixture of 50% water and 50% antifreeze using a funnel.
13. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes to circulate the coolant.
14. Check for any leaks around the upper radiator hose connections.
15. If there are no leaks, close the hood of your Caravan.
