The crankshaft sensor on a 1989 Buick Regal 2.8 V6 is located on the front of the engine, near the oil filter. It is a small, cylindrical sensor with a wire connector on one end.

* A ratchet

* A socket wrench

* A flat-head screwdriver

* A new crankshaft sensor
