1. Park your vehicle on a level surface and turn off the engine.
2. Locate the power steering fluid reservoir. It is usually a translucent plastic container with a black or blue cap. It is located on the driver's side of the engine compartment, near the top of the engine.
3. Remove the cap from the reservoir.
4. Check the fluid level. It should be between the "FULL" and "ADD" marks on the reservoir.
5. If the fluid level is low, add some power steering fluid to the reservoir. Use only the type of fluid recommended by your vehicle's manufacturer.
6. Replace the cap on the reservoir.
