1. Locate the power steering pump and reservoir. On the Diamante, it's usually on the passenger side of the engine bay.
2. There is a bolt that connects the power steering pump to the engine block. Use a wrench or ratchet to loosen this bolt.
3. Once the bolt is loose, you can rotate the power steering pump to tighten the belt.
4. Align the belt with the grooves on the pulleys and tighten the bolt.
Here are some additional tips:
- Make sure the power steering fluid level is full before adjusting the belt.
- If the belt is too loose, it can slip and cause the power steering to be ineffective.
- If the belt is too tight, it can put unnecessary stress on the power steering pump and other components.
- As you tighten the bolt, keep an eye on the belt tension. If the belt feels too tight or too loose, adjust it accordingly.
