2. Pull the gas cap release lever. This will release the gas cap door, which is located on the outside of the car, behind the driver's side taillight.
3. Open the gas cap door. You may need to use a key or a flathead screwdriver to do this.
4. Remove the gas cap. Turn the gas cap counterclockwise until it is fully unscrewed.
5. Fill up your gas tank.
6. Replace the gas cap. Screw the gas cap back on until it is fully tightened.
7. Close the gas cap door.
