Materials Required:
- Replacement Fuel Pump Module
- Fuel Pump Lock Ring Removal Tool

Procedure:
Step 1: Prepare the Vehicle
- Engage the parking brake and chock the rear tires.
- Lift the rear of the vehicle using the jack and place the jack stands under the vehicle's designated support points.
Step 2: Locate the Fuel Pump Access Panel
- The fuel pump access panel is located under the rear seats. Unbolt and remove the rear seats to access the panel.
Step 3: Disconnect the Battery
- Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery to prevent any electrical accidents during the repair.
Step 4: Remove the Fuel Pump Access Panel
- Remove the bolts or screws securing the fuel pump access panel. Set aside the panel.
Step 5: Disconnect the Fuel Lines
- Disconnect the fuel lines attached to the fuel pump module by using the appropriate wrench.
- Be cautious, as some residual fuel may leak out.
Step 6: Remove the Lock Ring
- Use the fuel pump lock ring removal tool to remove the fuel pump lock ring that holds the fuel pump module in place.
Step 7: Take Out the Fuel Pump Module
- Carefully lift out the fuel pump module from the fuel tank.
- Be careful not to damage any components or drop them into the fuel tank.
Step 8: Replace the Fuel Pump
- Remove the old fuel pump from the module.
- Install the new fuel pump into the module, making sure it's properly seated.
- Secure the fuel pump with the lock ring using the fuel pump lock ring removal tool.
Step 9: Reconnect the Fuel Lines
- Reattach the fuel lines to the fuel pump module. Use wrenches to tighten the connections securely.
Step 10: Reinstall the Fuel Pump Module
- Gently lower the fuel pump module back into the fuel tank.
- Ensure it's properly seated, and the lock ring is secure.
Step 11: Reattach the Fuel Pump Access Panel
- Replace the fuel pump access panel and secure it using the bolts or screws you removed earlier.
Step 12: Reconnect the Battery
- Reconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
Step 13: Start the Engine
- Start the engine to test the new fuel pump. Listen for any unusual noises or check for leaks.
Step 14: Lower the Vehicle
- Lower the vehicle from the jack stands and remove the jack.
Step 15: Clean Up
- Clean up any spilled fuel or debris in the work area.
