- Phillips head screwdriver
- Replacement brake light bulb (12V, 21W)
- Jack and jack stands (if needed)
Instructions:
1. Park your car in a safe location and turn off the engine.
2. Engage the parking brake.
3. Open the trunk.
4. Locate the taillight assembly.
5. Use the Phillips head screwdriver to remove the screws that hold the taillight assembly in place.
6. Pull the taillight assembly out of the car.
7. Locate the brake light bulb socket in the assembly.
8. Turn the bulb counterclockwise to remove it from its socket.
9. Install the new brake light bulb by turning it clockwise into its socket.
10. Reinstall the taillight assembly in the car.
11. Replace the screws that hold the taillight assembly in place.
12. Close the trunk.
13. Test the brake lights to ensure they are working properly.
