1. Disconnect negative terminal of battery
2. Raise rear of vehicle and support it with jack stands.
3. Locate fuel pump access cover near the center of the fuel tank.
4. Remove access cover screws and lift cover.
5. Disconnect the fuel pump connector, pressure sensor connector and the ground strap near the fuel pump module cover.
6. Remove the fuel pump module cover bolts.
7. Remove the module cover.
8. Remove fuel hose from fuel pump. Use fuel line disconnect tool J-29805-C or equivalent to disconnect the fuel line.
9. Remove retaining ring from fuel pump module (located inside fuel tank on top of module) and lift the module out.
