Instructions:
1. Park your vehicle on a flat surface. Turn off the engine and allow it to cool down completely. Engage the parking brake.
2. Raise the front of the vehicle. Place the jack stands underneath the vehicle's frame, making sure that they are securely in place. Jack the vehicle up until the front wheels are off the ground.
3.Locate the power steering belt. The power steering belt is located in the front of the engine, typically on the driver's side. It is a thin, black belt that connects the power steering pump to the engine's crankshaft.
4. Loosen the power steering pump bolts. Use the 13 mm socket to loosen the two bolts that hold the power steering pump in place. Do not remove the bolts completely.
5. Pry the power steering pump off the mounting bracket. Use a pry bar or a large screwdriver to pry the power steering pump off the mounting bracket. Be careful not to damage the pump or the bracket.
6. Remove the old power steering belt. Once the power steering pump is disengaged, you can remove the old power steering belt. Simply take it off the pulleys.
7. Install the new power steering belt. Place the new power steering belt around the pulleys. Make sure that it is seated properly.
8. Reattach the power steering pump. Reattach the power steering pump to the mounting bracket and tighten the two bolts.
9. Lower the vehicle. Slowly lower the vehicle back down using the jack. Remove the jack stands.
10. Start the engine and check the power steering system. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes. Check for any leaks or unusual noises from the power steering system.
