1. Open the hood of your car and locate the engine cover.
2. Remove the engine cover by unlatching the clips on the sides and lifting it off.
3. Locate the spark plugs on the top of the cylinder head. They are arranged in a row, with one spark plug for each cylinder.
4. Each spark plug is covered by a rubber boot. To remove the boot, simply pull it off of the spark plug.
5. Use a spark plug wrench to loosen and remove the spark plug from the cylinder head.
6. Inspect the spark plug and replace it if necessary.

- Make sure that the engine is cool before you begin working on it.
- Use a spark plug wrench that is the correct size for the spark plugs in your car.
- Be careful not to drop the spark plugs into the engine.
