2. Open the hood of your vehicle.
3. Locate the heater control valve on the engine. It is usually located near the thermostat housing.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the heater control valve.
5. Use a wrench to loosen the bolts or nuts that secure the heater control valve to the engine.
6. Remove the heater control valve from the engine.
7. Inspect the heater control valve for damage. If the heater control valve is damaged, it will need to be replaced.
8. Reinstall the heater control valve in the reverse order of removal.
9. Reconnect the electrical connector to the heater control valve.
10. Close the hood of your vehicle.
