2. Locate the oil pan. The oil pan is usually located at the bottom of the engine compartment. It is made of metal and is usually black.
3. The oil drain bolt is usually located on the bottom of the oil pan. It is usually a 17mm bolt.
4. Use a 17mm wrench or socket to loosen the oil drain bolt. Be careful not to let any oil spill on you or the ground.
5. Let the oil drain completely. This may take a few minutes.
6. Replace the oil drain bolt. Tighten the oil drain bolt until it is snug.
7. Lower your truck.
