1. Air in the system: When replacing the clutch master cylinder, it is possible for air to get into the hydraulic system. Air in the system can cause the clutch to feel spongy or not engage properly, and can also lead to a build-up of pressure. To resolve this issue, you will need to bleed the clutch system to remove any trapped air.
2. Faulty slave cylinder: The clutch slave cylinder is responsible for actuating the clutch fork and releasing the clutch. If the slave cylinder is faulty, it may not be able to move the clutch fork properly, which can cause a build-up of pressure in the master cylinder. To check if the slave cylinder is faulty, you can try to manually move the clutch fork with a pry bar. If the clutch fork does not move freely, the slave cylinder may be faulty and will need to be replaced.
3. Faulty clutch master cylinder: Even though you just replaced the clutch master cylinder, it is still possible for it to be faulty. If the master cylinder is faulty, it may not be able to generate enough pressure to actuate the clutch slave cylinder. To check if the master cylinder is faulty, you can try to bleed the clutch system. If the clutch system cannot be bled, the master cylinder may be faulty and will need to be replaced.
4. Leaks in the hydraulic system: If there are any leaks in the clutch hydraulic system, it can cause a loss of pressure and prevent the clutch from engaging properly. Check all of the hydraulic lines and connections for leaks, and repair or replace any damaged components as necessary.
5. Obstruction in the hydraulic line: There might be an obstruction in the hydraulic line preventing the fluid to flow properly. Inspect the line and remove any obstruction that might be present.
