1. Disconnect the battery. This will prevent any electrical damage from occurring while you are working on the IACV.
2. Locate the IACV. The IACV is located on the throttle body. It is a small, black cylinder with a wire connector attached to it.
3. Remove the IACV. There are two bolts that hold the IACV in place. Use a wrench to loosen the bolts and remove the IACV.
4. Install the new IACV. Place the new IACV in the same position as the old one. Insert the bolts and tighten them securely.
5. Reconnect the battery.
6. Start the engine and check the idle speed. The idle speed should now be at the correct RPM.
