Steps:
1. Park your vehicle on a level surface and turn off the engine. Allow it to cool down completely.
2. Open the hood of your vehicle.
3. Locate the heater hoses that connect to the heater core. They are usually located on the firewall near the engine.
4. Use a pliers to pinch the heater hoses closed and disconnect them from the heater core.
5. Remove the bolts that secure the heater core to the firewall.
6. Gently remove the heater core from the vehicle.
7. Inspect the heater core for damage or leaks. If the heater core is damaged, it will need to be replaced.
8. To reinstall the heater core, simply reverse the steps listed above.

- Be careful not to spill any coolant when disconnecting the heater hoses.
