How do you change fuel pump on Honda Passport?

Here are the steps on how to change the fuel pump on a Honda Passport:

2. Prepare your vehicle. Park your vehicle on a level surface and turn off the engine. Engage the parking brake and chock the wheels. Relieve the fuel system pressure by removing the fuel cap and pressing the Schrader valve on the fuel rail.

3. Locate the fuel pump. The fuel pump is located inside the fuel tank. On the Honda Passport, the fuel tank is located under the rear of the vehicle. You will need to remove the fuel tank to access the fuel pump.

4. Remove the fuel tank. To remove the fuel tank, you will need to:

* Disconnect the electrical connector from the fuel pump.

* Remove the bolts that hold the fuel tank in place.

* Lower the fuel tank from the vehicle.

* Raise the fuel tank into position.

* Install the bolts that hold the fuel tank in place.

* Connect the electrical connector to the fuel pump.

* Connect the fuel lines to the tank.

7. Start the engine and check for leaks. Once the fuel tank is reinstalled, you can start the engine and check for leaks. If there are no leaks, you can put the vehicle back in service.

Note: If you are replacing the fuel filter at the same time as the fuel pump, you can do so by removing the old filter from the fuel line and installing the new filter in its place.
