Where is the crankshaft position sensor in a 2002 Hyundai Sonata?

The crankshaft position sensor in a 2002 Hyundai Sonata is located on the oil pump housing, near the upper timing cover. To access the crankshaft position sensor, remove the upper timing cover. The crankshaft position sensor is held in place by two bolts and an electrical connector. To remove the sensor, remove the bolts first, then disconnect the electrical connector. Be careful not to drop the bolts into the oil pump housing.
