Instructions:
1. Park your car on a level surface and apply the parking brake.
2. Turn off the engine and allow it to cool down.
3. Jack up the front of your car and use a jack stand to support it. This will allow you to crawl underneath.
4. Locate the oil drain plug on the bottom of the oil pan. It is usually a 17mm bolt. Place the oil drain pan under the plug.
5. Loosen the oil drain plug with a wrench and allow the oil to drain into the oil drain pan.
6. Remove the old oil filter and let the oil drain from it into the oil drain pan.
7. Once the oil has drained, replace the oil drain plug and tighten it securely.
7. Install a new oil filter. Hand-tighten the oil filter until it is snug, then turn it an additional 1/2 turn with a wrench.
9. Lower your car and remove the jack stand.
10. Open the hood of your car and locate the oil fill cap. It is usually located near the top of the engine.
11. Remove the oil fill cap and insert the funnel.
12. Pour 2.0 qts of new oil into the engine.
13. Replace the oil fill cap and close the hood of your car.
14. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes. This will help circulate the new oil throughout the engine.
15. Check the oil level with the dipstick. The oil level should be between the "full" and "add" marks on the dipstick.
16. Top up the oil, if necessary.
Remember to dispose of the old oil and filter properly and check the oil level regularly to ensure your engine is properly lubricated.
