Required tools:
1. Phillips head screwdriver
2. Flat-head screwdriver
3. Replacement halogen H11 low beam bulb (recommended: 55W)
Step 1: Turn off the engine and allow it to cool down completely.
Step 2: Open the hood of your car and locate the headlight assembly of the affected side (driver or passenger).
Step 3: Locate the rubber dust cover at the back of the headlight assembly.
Step 4: Remove the cover by gently pulling it back. Set it aside for re-installation.
Step 5: Locate the connector attached to the low beam bulb. Press the release tab and disconnect the connector from the bulb.
Step 6: Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the retaining screw that holds the bulb in place.
Step 7: Carefully remove the old low beam bulb by turning and pulling it counterclockwise.
Step 8: Take the new H11 bulb and handle it only by touching the metal base. Do not touch the glass part of the bulb as this can reduce its lifespan.
Step 9: Insert the new low beam bulb into the headlight housing and turn clockwise until it locks in place.
Step 10: Replace the retaining screw and tighten it with a Phillips head screwdriver.
Step 11: Reconnect the electrical connector to the new low beam bulb.
Step 12: Re-attach the rubber dust cover to the back of the headlight assembly and press gently until it snaps into place.
Step 13: Repeat the same process for the other side if needed.
Step 14: Close the hood of your car and test the low beam headlights to ensure they are working properly.
