Who had the first auto assembly line?

While there were earlier examples of assembly lines for other products, Henry Ford is widely credited with pioneering the first truly successful and impactful moving assembly line for automobiles at his Ford Motor Company in 1913. While others used elements of assembly line production before him, Ford's system was revolutionary in its efficiency and scale, dramatically lowering the cost of automobiles and making them accessible to a much wider market.
