2. Loosen the distributor hold-down bolt.
3. Remove the distributor cap.
4. Locate the timing marks on the engine;
-Timing marks on the engine will be near the front cover
5. Locate the timing pointer which is also near the front cover
6. Position the crankshaft such that the timing mark lines up with the timing pointer.
7. Turn the distributor body until the rotor aligns with the number one spark plug wire terminal on the distributor cap.
8. Tighten the distributor hold-down bolt.
9. Replace the distributor cap.
10. Start the engine and check the timing with a timing light.
