2. Locate the engine coolant temperature sensor. It is located on the left side of the engine block.
3. Follow the wires from the temperature sensor down to the crankshaft sensor.
4. Using a socket and ratchet, loosen the bolts that hold the sensor to the engine.
5. Pull the sensor out of its housing and disconnect it from the wiring harness.
6. Replace the sensor with a new one and tighten the bolts.
7. Reconnect the negative battery terminal.
