Instructions:
1. Park your vehicle on a level surface and engage the parking brake.
2. Make sure the engine is cool.
3. Raise your vehicle using a floor jack and place jack stands under the frame for support.
4. Remove the transmission pan bolts using a 17mm socket and ratchet.
5. Allow the transmission fluid to drain into a drip pan.
6. Remove the torque converter bolts using a 32mm socket.
7. Separate the transmission from the engine by prying it apart with a pry bar.
8. Remove the starter bolts using a 19mm socket and ratchet.
9. Remove the starter from the vehicle.
10. Remove the transmission mount bolts using a 22mm socket and ratchet.
11. Lower the transmission using a floor jack.
12. Remove the transmission from the vehicle.
13. Clean the transmission mating surfaces on the engine and transmission.
14. Install the new transmission filter.
15. Install a new gasket between the transmission and engine.
16. Install the transmission onto the engine.
17. Tighten the transmission mount bolts.
18. Install the starter.
19. Tighten the starter bolts.
20. Install the torque converter bolts.
21. Tighten the torque converter bolts.
22. Install the transmission pan bolts.
23. Tighten the transmission pan bolts.
24. Lower your vehicle using a floor jack.
25. Add new transmission fluid to the transmission.
26. Start your vehicle and let it run for a few minutes.
27. Check the transmission fluid level and add more if necessary.
