How do you change a brake light on 2000 Dodge Stratus SE?

Tools and Materials Needed:

- Replacement brake light bulb

- Phillips head screwdriver

- Flathead screwdriver

- Rag or towel

Instructions:

1. Park your car in a safe location and turn off the engine. Engage the parking brake.

2. Open the trunk of your Stratus.

3. Locate the brake light assembly that you need to change. It is located on the back of the car, on the side that has the damaged bulb.

4. Use the Phillips head screwdriver to remove the two screws that hold the brake light assembly in place.

5. Once the screws are removed, carefully pry the brake light assembly out of the car using the flathead screwdriver. Be careful not to damage the paint on your car.

6. Disconnect the electrical connector from the back of the brake light assembly.

7. Remove the old brake light bulb from the assembly.

8. Insert the replacement brake light bulb into the assembly and reconnect the electrical connector.

9. Carefully reinstall the brake light assembly into the car and replace the two screws.

10. Repeat steps 4-9 for the other brake light assembly, if necessary.

11. Close the trunk and test the brake lights to make sure that they are working properly.

Note: If the brake light bulb does not work after replacing it, you may need to check the fuse or circuit breaker for the brake light circuit.
