Where is cigarette lighter fuse in 2000 Ford Explorer?

1. Open the driver's side door.

2. Locate the fuse box cover under the dashboard, to the left of the steering wheel.

3. Remove the fuse box cover by pulling it straight up.

4. Locate fuse 13 in the fuse box. This fuse is for the cigarette lighter.

5. If fuse 13 is blown, replace it with a new 15 amp fuse.

6. Reinstall the fuse box cover and close the driver's side door.
