1. Locate the fuel filter bleed screw. It is usually located on the top of the fuel filter housing.
2. Loosen the bleed screw by turning it counterclockwise with a wrench.
3. Pump the manual fuel pump until fuel begins to flow steadily from the bleed screw.
4. Close the bleed screw.
5. Start the engine and allow it to run for a few minutes until it stabilizes.
6. Check for leaks around the fuel filter housing.
