How do you add a fuel pump to lawn tractor engine that have one vacuum driven but this has no port Where should I the Valve cover Intake manifold?

There are two common methods for adding a fuel pump to a lawn tractor engine that does not have a vacuum-driven port:

1. Valve Cover:

- Locate the valve cover on your lawn tractor engine.

- Remove the valve cover and inspect the inside of the cover for a suitable location for a fuel pump. Look for a flat surface where you can mount the fuel pump without obstructing any moving parts.

- Mark the location and drill a hole of the appropriate size for your fuel pump.

- Install the fuel pump in the drilled hole and secure it using the provided mounting hardware.

- Connect the fuel inlet and outlet ports of the fuel pump to the appropriate fuel lines.

2. Intake Manifold:

- Locate the intake manifold on your lawn tractor engine.

- Remove the intake manifold and inspect the inside of the manifold for a suitable location for a fuel pump. Look for a flat surface where you can mount the fuel pump without obstructing any passages or ports.

- Mark the location and drill a hole of the appropriate size for your fuel pump.

- Install the fuel pump in the drilled hole and secure it using the provided mounting hardware.

- Connect the fuel inlet and outlet ports of the fuel pump to the appropriate fuel lines.

Note:

- Make sure to use the correct type of fuel pump for your engine and fuel system.

- Use high-quality fuel-resistant hoses and fittings to connect the fuel lines to the pump.

- Verify that all connections are secure and free from leaks before starting the engine.
