The fuel pump fuse for the 2001 Ford Explorer Sport is located in the passenger compartment fuse box. The fuse box is located under the dashboard, to the left of the steering wheel. The fuel pump fuse is marked "FPUMP".
Here are the steps to access and replace the fuel pump fuse:
1. Open the passenger door.
2. Remove the trim panel under the dashboard, to the left of the steering wheel.
3. Locate the fuse box.
4. Identify the fuel pump fuse.
5. Pull the fuse straight out of the fuse box.
6. Inspect the fuse for damage. If the fuse is blown, replace it with a new fuse of the same amperage.
7. Reinstall the trim panel.
8. Close the passenger door.
