2. Locate the air cleaner assembly, which is usually a black plastic box near the top of the engine.
3. Open the air cleaner assembly by unlatching the clips or screws holding it closed.
4. Remove the old air filter from the air cleaner assembly.
5. Insert the new air filter into the air cleaner assembly, making sure that it is seated correctly.
6. Close the air cleaner assembly and secure it with the clips and/or screws.
