How do you check and fill clutch fluid on a 1991 Subaru legacy wagon?

To check and fill the clutch fluid on a 1991 Subaru Legacy wagon:

1. Open the hood of the car and locate the clutch fluid reservoir. It's usually a small, translucent plastic tank with a black plastic cap.

2. Check the fluid level. It should be somewhere between the "MIN" and "MAX" indicators on the reservoir tank.

3. If the fluid level is low add enough DOT 3 brake fluid to bring the fluid level up to in between the "MIN" and "MAX" indicators. Use a clean, small funnel to prevent fluid spills.

4. Replace the cap on the reservoir and close the hood.

Note: If the clutch fluid level is low it is important to check for signs of leaks, and have it repaired if necessary, as low clutch fluid can cause damage to the clutch system.
