1. A spark plug wrench
2. A feeler gauge
3. A screwdriver
4. A 10mm wrench
5. A 14mm wrench
6. A new spark plug
Instructions:
1. Put the bike in neutral and disconnect the spark plug wire from the spark plug.
2. Remove the spark plug from the cylinder head using the spark plug wrench.
3. Insert the feeler gauge between the points and the cam lobe of the camshaft.
4. Adjust the points gap to 0.020 inches by turning the point set screw with a screwdriver.
5. Tighten the point set screw with a 10mm wrench.
6. Reinstall the spark plug by tightening it with a 14mm wrench.
7. Reattach the spark plug wire to the spark plug.
Important Notes:
- Be sure to set the point gap to the correct specification.
- Take care not to drop the points or the point set screw.
- If the points or the point set screw are damaged, replace them with new ones.
