To change the upper brake light on a Ford S-Max, follow these steps:

1. Gather the necessary tools and materials.

- You will need a Phillips-head screwdriver, a flat-head screwdriver, and a new brake light bulb.

2. Open the rear hatch of the S-Max.

3. Locate the upper brake light.

- The upper brake light is located at the top of the rear window, in the center.

4. Remove the screws holding the brake light in place.

- There are two screws that hold the brake light in place.

- Use a Phillips-head screwdriver to remove the screws.

5. Remove the old brake light.

- Once the screws are removed, you can pull the brake light out of its housing.

6. Disconnect the electrical connector.

- The electrical connector is located on the back of the brake light.

- Use a flat-head screwdriver to release the connector.

7. Install the new brake light.

- Insert the new brake light into the housing.
