2. Locate the thermostat housing. It is a small round or square housing located on the engine block, near the top of the engine. It will have two hoses attached to it.
3. Remove the bolts holding the thermostat housing in place and remove the thermostat housing.
4. The thermostat will be located inside the thermostat housing. It is a small round or square device with a spring in the center.
5. Remove the old thermostat and install the new thermostat.
6. Reinstall the thermostat housing and tighten the bolts.
7. Refill the coolant system if necessary.
