1. Open the bonnet (hood) of the car.
2. Locate the engine cover, which is usually a plastic cover covering the top of the engine.
3. Remove the engine cover by unclipping the fasteners or bolts that hold it in place.
4. Once the engine cover is removed, you will see the spark plugs located on top of the engine. They are usually cylindrical in shape and have a wire connected to them.
5. To remove the spark plugs, you will need a spark plug wrench. Place the wrench over the spark plug and turn it counterclockwise to loosen it.
6. Once the spark plug is loosened, you can remove it by hand. Be careful not to drop the spark plug into the engine.
7. Inspect the spark plug for wear and damage. If the spark plug is worn or damaged, it will need to be replaced.
8. To install a new spark plug, simply screw it into the engine by hand until it is snug. Then, use the spark plug wrench to tighten the spark plug further. Do not overtighten the spark plug, as this can damage the engine.
9. Repeat steps 5-8 for the remaining spark plugs.
10. Once you have installed all of the new spark plugs, replace the engine cover and close the bonnet (hood).
