Is there a camshaft position sensor in 1998 TJ Sahara not crankshaft but camshaft?

There is no camshaft position sensor in a 1998 TJ Sahara. The 1998 TJ Sahara uses a distributor ignition system, which does not require a camshaft position sensor. Instead, the distributor uses a mechanical pickup to determine the position of the camshaft and trigger the spark plugs to fire.
