1. Locate the emergency release handle. It is typically located on the inside of the fuel door or near the fuel filler neck.
2. Pull the emergency release handle. This will release the fuel cap.
3. Remove the fuel cap.
Method 2: Use a Flathead Screwdriver
1. Insert a flathead screwdriver into the slot on the fuel cap.
2. Turn the screwdriver counterclockwise. This will loosen the fuel cap.
3. Remove the fuel cap.
Method 3: Use a Pair of Pliers
1. Grip the fuel cap with a pair of pliers.
2. Turn the pliers counterclockwise. This will loosen the fuel cap.
3. Remove the fuel cap.
Note: If the fuel cap is still stuck, you may need to use a combination of methods. For example, you may need to pull the emergency release handle while simultaneously turning the fuel cap with a flathead screwdriver or pliers.
