Remove the gas cap.
Turn the engine off.
Locate the fuel pressure valve, which is usually located on the fuel rail.
Place a rag under the valve to catch any dripping fuel.
Use a flat head screwdriver or a wrench to turn the valve counterclockwise until it stops.
Wait for all the fuel to drain from the valve.
Close the valve by turning it clockwise until it stops.
Replace the gas cap.
