- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Disconnect the electrical connector from the camshaft position sensor.
- Remove the two bolts that hold the sensor in place.
- Remove the camshaft position sensor.
The camshaft position sensor is located on the passenger side of the cylinder head, just above the camshaft sprocket.
To install the new sensor:
- Position the new sensor in place and install the two bolts.
- Tighten the bolts to the specified torque.
- Connect the electrical connector to the sensor.
- Connect the negative battery cable.
