1. Turn off engine and use a jack to raise front end of vehicle, set parking brake, and remove front left tire.
2. Drain fuel from tank by taking down bottom hose of the tank. There will be a small bracket holding one end of the fuel line in place. Pull off bracket and allow the gas to drain into a container.
3. Remove fuel tank skid plate. There will be 6 bolts that need to be removed in order to remove the plate.
4. Look to the top part of the gas tank near the front drivers side wheel. Find the metal fuel pipe and loosen the bracket holding it in place.
5. Locate fuel filter near passenger side of fuel tank. Remove hose clamps and pull hoses off the filter. Remove filter from the brackets.
6. Insert new filter into brackets. Make sure that fuel flow arrows on the filter point towards the engine.
7. Attach hoses to the new fuel filter and connect metal bracket near the front drivers side.
8. Put all the parts back in place. Re-install fuel line to tank, secure bracket, and lift vehicle off jacks.
