*1. Open the hood of the dozer.
*2.* Locate the engine air filter housing on the left side of the engine compartment.
*3.* Remove the wing nut that holds the air filter cover in place.
*4.* Remove the air filter cover and take out the old air filter.
*5.* Inspect the old air filter for dirt and damage and replace it if necessary.
*6.* Reinstall the air filter cover and secure it with the wing nut.

* When you remove the old air filter, be careful not to drop any dirt or debris into the air filter housing. This could damage the engine.
