- Replacement fuel injectors (quantity as needed)
- Fuel line wrench

Procedure:
1. Safety Precautions:
- Disconnect the battery to prevent any electrical accidents.
- Relieve fuel pressure by turning the ignition to "On" without cranking the engine multiple times and waiting.
2. Remove Intake Plenum:
- Locate the intake plenum, which is the black plastic housing covering the fuel injector assembly.
- Remove the bolts securing the intake plenum to the throttle body and engine.
- Carefully lift and remove the intake plenum.
3. Access Fuel Injectors:
- Once the intake plenum is removed, you will be able to see the fuel injectors. They are usually held in place by plastic fuel lines and electrical connectors.
4. Disconnect Fuel Lines:
- Use a fuel line wrench to loosen the fuel lines connected to each fuel injector. Be cautious as some residual fuel may leak.
- Collect any leaking fuel in a suitable container.

- Disconnect the electrical connectors attached to each fuel injector. Ensure you take note of the injector positions as they may need to be reconnected in the same order.
6. Remove Fuel Injectors:
- Use a flat-head screwdriver to gently pry the fuel injectors out of their sockets. Be careful not to damage the injector seats.
7. Inspect O-Rings:
- Inspect the O-rings on the removed fuel injectors. Replace them if they are damaged or worn.
8. Install New Fuel Injectors:
- Carefully insert the replacement fuel injectors into their respective sockets.
- Ensure the O-rings are properly seated.
9. Reconnect Electrical Connectors:
- Reconnect the electrical connectors to the corresponding fuel injectors.
10. Reconnect Fuel Lines:
- Use the fuel line wrench to reconnect the fuel lines to the fuel injectors. Tighten them securely, ensuring there are no leaks.
11. Reinstall Intake Plenum:
- Carefully place the intake plenum back onto the engine and throttle body.
- Secure it with the bolts removed earlier.
12. Cleaning (Optional):
- Consider running fuel system cleaner through the fuel lines before starting the engine. Follow the instructions on the cleaner product.
13. Start the Engine:
- Reconnect the battery.
- Crank the engine to allow fuel to flow into the injectors and start the vehicle.
14. Check for Leaks:
- Inspect for any fuel leaks around the injector area once the engine is running.
15. Test Drive:
- Take your car for a test drive to ensure it runs smoothly and there are no issues related to the fuel injector replacement.
