How do you reset the yellow engine warning light on a Mazda RX8?

1. Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the "On" position. Do not start the engine.

2. Press and hold the gas pedal down for at least 10 seconds.

3. While still holding down the gas pedal, turn the key to the "Off" position and release the gas pedal.

4. Wait at least 10 minutes.

5. Start the engine and let it idle for a few minutes.

6. The engine warning light should now be reset.

If the engine warning light does not reset, you may need to take your car to a Mazda dealer to have it reset.
