Here are the steps on how to remove a 2005 Cavalier Dashboard:
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. This will help to prevent any electrical damage during the removal process.
2. Remove the two screws that hold the instrument panel cluster in place. These screws are located on the top of the instrument panel, on the left and right sides.
3. Pull the instrument panel cluster out of the vehicle. Once the screws are removed, you can easily pull the instrument panel cluster out of the vehicle.
4. Remove the two screws that hold the radio in place. These screws are located on the left and right sides of the radio.
5. Pull the radio out of the vehicle. Once the screws are removed, you can easily pull the radio out of the vehicle.
6. Remove the four screws that hold the center console in place. These screws are located two screws on the top of the center console and two screws at the bottom of the center console.
7. Pull the center console out of the vehicle. Once the screws are removed, you can easily pull the center console out of the vehicle.
8. Remove the two screws that hold the glove box door in place. These screws are located on the inside of the glove box door, near the top.
9. Open the glove box and remove the contents.
10. Pry open the glove box door and remove the two screws that hold it in place.
11. Pull the glove box door off of the vehicle.
12. Remove the six screws that hold the dashboard in place. These screws are located on the top of the dashboard, two on the left and two on the right.
13. Pry the dashboard loose from the vehicle. Use a pry bar to pry the dashboard loose from the vehicle. Be careful not to damage the dashboard.
14. Once the dashboard is loose, you can remove it from the vehicle.
