Fix:
1. The fuel sender unit is located inside the fuel tank, and it is responsible for sending the fuel level information to the instrument cluster.
2. To replace the fuel sender unit, you will need to remove the fuel tank. Depending on the VW model, the fuel tank may be located underneath the vehicle or in the trunk.
3. Once the fuel tank is removed, you can access the fuel sender unit by removing the electrical connector, and then unscrew the sender unit from the tank.
4. Install the new fuel sender unit, and then reconnect the electrical connector and reinstall the fuel tank.
