1. Park your vehicle on a level surface and turn off the engine.
2. Locate the clutch slave cylinder. It is usually mounted on the transmission near the clutch bell housing.
3. Clean the area around the slave cylinder to remove any dirt or debris.
4. Loosen the bleeder screw on the clutch slave cylinder. Use a 10mm wrench to turn the screw counterclockwise until it is loose.
5. Attach a clear hose to the bleeder screw. The hose should be long enough to reach a container of brake fluid.
6. Open the container of brake fluid and pour some into the hose. The fluid should flow through the hose and out the bleeder screw.
7. Have a friend press down on the clutch pedal while you watch the fluid level in the hose. The fluid level should drop as the clutch pedal is pressed.
8. Close the bleeder screw when the fluid level in the hose drops below the top of the slave cylinder.
9. Repeat steps 5-8 until no more air bubbles are visible in the hose.
10. Top up the brake fluid reservoir with new brake fluid.
11. Test the clutch pedal to make sure it is working properly.
Note: Be sure to use DOT 3 brake fluid when bleeding the clutch slave cylinder. Do not use DOT 5 brake fluid, as it is not compatible with the rubber seals in the slave cylinder.
