Materials:
* 5W-30 motor oil
* Oil filter
* Oil drain pan
* Funnel
* Wrench
Instructions:
1.) Run the engine for a few minutes to warm up the oil. This will help it drain easier.
2.) Turn off the engine and park the vehicle on a level surface. Engage the parking brake.
3.) Locate the oil drain bolt on the underside of the oil pan. Place the oil drain pan beneath the oil drain plug to catch the draining oil.
4.) Use the wrench to loosen and remove the oil drain bolt. Be careful not to drop the bolt into the oil drain pan. Allow all of the oil to drain out of the oil pan.
5.) Replace the oil drain bolt and tighten it securely.
6.) Locate the oil filter on the engine. It is usually located near the top of the engine on the driver's side.
7.) Use the wrench to loosen and remove the oil filter. Be careful not to spill any oil.
8.) Apply a thin film of new oil to the gasket of the new oil filter.
9.) Screw the new oil filter onto the engine until it is snug. Do not overtighten the oil filter.
10.)Add new oil to the engine through the oil fill cap located at the top of the engine. Use the funnel to add the oil.
11.) Add enough oil to bring the oil level to the "Full" mark on the oil dipstick.
12.) Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes.
13.) Check the oil level again and add more oil if necessary.
