1. Park your vehicle on a level surface and turn off the engine.
2. Locate the fuel filter. The fuel filter is located under the vehicle, near the fuel tank. It is a cylindrical-shaped object with two fuel lines connected to it.
3. Place a drain pan under the fuel filter to catch any spilled fuel.
4. Use a wrench to loosen the fuel line nuts on the fuel filter. Be careful not to spill any fuel.
5. Remove the fuel filter from the fuel lines.
6. Install the new fuel filter. Make sure the new filter is installed in the same direction as the old filter.
7. Tighten the fuel line nuts until they are snug.
8. Start the engine and check for leaks. If there are no leaks, you have successfully changed the fuel filter.
Note: Fuel injection systems are under high pressure. Use extreme caution when working on any part of the fuel injection system. If you are not comfortable working on your vehicle's fuel injection system, you should have the fuel filter replaced by a qualified technician.
