To replace the crankshaft position sensor, you will need the following tools:
* A 10mm socket wrench
* A Phillips head screwdriver
* A small pry bar
Instructions:
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2. Remove the engine cover.
3. Locate the crankshaft position sensor.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the sensor.
5. Remove the two Phillips head screws that hold the sensor in place.
6. Carefully pry the sensor out of its mounting hole.
7. Ensure that the new sensor is properly seated in the mounting hole.
8. Install the two Phillips head screws that hold the sensor in place.
9. Connect the electrical connector to the sensor.
10. Reinstall the engine cover.
11. Reconnect the negative battery terminal.
Start the engine and verify that it is running smoothly.
